December 30, 2018 at 8:50 amHi Erin! Can you share the name or link to your navy living room rug from Esalerugs.com? I’ve searched their site and can’t find it. Thank you!!
francoisetmoiblog@gmail.com
December 31, 2018 at 5:16 pmHi Molly!
This is a vintage rug that’s one of a kind. I’d say contact Esale rugs and have them tell you what they have that is most similar. Happy New Year!

January 30, 2019 at 9:47 pmHi Erin…I just saw your Murphy Bed guest room on Pintrest. Can you tell me what size the bed it is? I’m in the process of redoing my guest room which is very small and can’t decide on a sofa bed or a Murphy bed. Yours looks so beautiful. What company made your bed? Thanks…Maria

April 7, 2019 at 2:05 pmHi Erin. I have so enjoyed your instagram posts from over here in Seattle and I absolutely love your style and aesthetic. So first, thank you for sharing. And second, my husband and I are embarking on a kitchen remodel… I am shamelessly using your photos for inspiration and have a quick question for you: how well do you like your marble countertops? As someone who aspires to be cleaner when I cook/bake, I am concerned when I read that marble can stain easier than other surfaces. Would you say your countertops are holding up well and would you recommend to others?
francoisetmoiblog@gmail.com
April 23, 2019 at 12:47 pmHi Geraldine–Hello from Minneapolis! There is much debate about marble countertops out there, isn’t there? My husband and I love the marble, but that’s not to say there are pros & cons. The marble tops have been at work in our kitchen for 3.5 years now, and we seal them every 6 mo to a year. They’ve held out remarkably to staining. (Baking soda seems to remove everything including red wine and pasta sauce!) However, the marble has etched and chipped a bit here and there with everyday use. The etching doesn’t bother us though–we think of it as a ‘living finish’ that’s meant to patina overtime (similar to natural brass or untreated leather). I absolutely LOVE the look of genuine marble vs quartz and will definitely choose it again. I hope this helps give some insight and good luck with your fab kitchen remodel!

April 29, 2019 at 11:59 amHi Erin,
I have questions about your joybird sofa. I was in the process of ordering it yesterday when the rep for joybird encouraged me to accept larger swatches before ordering a sunbrella fabric. I would really, really love your honest opinion on the fabric as far as comfort and the look of the sofa as it appears in person. Thank you for any help. I am so sad because I have wanted it for months, finally went to order and now feel that I am back to square one. Thank you! Gina

May 16, 2019 at 10:39 amHi Gina,
That’s interesting the rep suggested seeing a larger swatch. The Premier Fog fabric is HONESTLY great. The ‘hand’ feels like a brushed twill (not overly textured, but soft to the touch), and has the heathered look of men’s suiting. The only thing I can think is that the fabric dyelot came in different than their standard offering in some way (color, weave, hand, etc.) and they want you to approve it to make sure you 100% love it before moving forward. It might set you back a week or so while they send a swatch, but then you’ll have peace of mind seeing the big swatch in your space, lighting, etc.

Here’s the link to the crib, though it looks like it’s out of stock at the moment. The brand Million Dollar Baby, so maybe it’s available from another retailer. https://www.hayneedle.com/product/million-dollar-baby-liberty-3-in-1-convertible-crib-with-toddler-bed-conversion-kit.cfm

February 12, 2020 at 3:54 pmHi Frances, I picked it up in store at Tangletown Gardens, and I’m not sure they sell them online. I’d suggest calling them to see if they could ship one to you.

June 15, 2020 at 6:59 pmHi there. A while back, you posted a recipe for Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters. I noticed there was no quantity included for the Cassias chips. I also noticed that a person had posted this question on the post itself, but I didn’t see any response. Would you please let me know what the proper amount is? The recipe looks fantastic, and I’d like to make sure I’ve got the ingredients mixed correctly. Thanks in advance.
francoisetmoiblog@gmail.com
June 15, 2020 at 9:37 pmHi Rob,
My apologies for the oversight. We used 1/2 tablespoon cassia chips. I’ve updated the recipe to reflect this. Thank you and happy bitter-making!
