Friday, glorious Friday, I’m so glad you’re here! After being out of town the past 4 weekends, I’m really looking forward to playing catch up on a few projects at home that have taken the back seat to, well, life. It’s safe to say the weekend can’t get here fast enough. Anyone else feel the same? DIY Air Plant Stand for Homedit

I received a menagerie of air plants for Christmas last month, so naturally I was excited to find a fun way to display them. Air plants don’t require soil, so they call for a more creative home than simply a planter on the window sill. Thus I came up with this minimal, yet sculptural stand made from pre-made wood blocks and some floral wire. I love the height the stand provides, as well as the slight palm tree resemblance–oh-so timely for the middle of January! Check out the easy peasy tutorial over at Homedit.com! Happy Tuesday! Does it feel like Thursday to anyone else? Gotta love short weeks! Recently I built a craft table (in under an hour!) for our new place using saw horses and a pre-made tabletop from Ikea. No more laying out projects on the floor–Woo Hoo!
