This weekend I’m headed over to Lunalux, a letterpress studio in Loring Park, for Stationery Saturday, a personalized letterpress stationery event held on select Saturdays throughout the year. I’ve been wanting to partake in this event since I unwittingly stumbled into their shop one Saturday afternoon over a year ago, and it’s taken until now for my schedule to coincide with one of their events. Better late than never, right? I love the tactile nature of letterpress and have always been intrigued by the printing process, so I’m more than excited to have an inside look into how letterpress is made, and of course, take home some letterpress of my own! Here’s how the event works, any time between 11am and 6pm, for $34 you can stop in to have 10 hot-off-the-press personalized letterpress notecards printed just for you, find insight into the letterpress process, nibble on homemade baked goods, and knock out a little Holiday gifting in their stationery shop. Check out Lunalux’s Facebook page for all the juicy details.
