Don’t wash it! I had one and washed it according to instructions and the roving came apart,and also it became clumpy and tangled,so badly that I had to throw it away. That was $500 wasted……. Plus the P&H from Laura. So so sad and disappointed.

Hi Julie! The wool roving doesn’t need to be spun, it just felted. I’ve not sure if pre-felted roving is available, but that would be AMAZING!

Courtney–I haven’t tried washing/drying it, but wool is super cleanable, so I’ve definitely spot treated it!

Hi Sherry! I ordered 6 pounds initially, but ended up needing to order a few extra pounds because my knitting gauge was tighter than Laura Birek’s instructions. Good luck with your blanket!
