My friend Sarah had a fantastic idea this Spring of starting a monthly dinner club with a few close friends. The concept being, we get together once a month and check out a new restaurant in Minneapolis. It’s a great excuse to put everything aside for a few hours to enjoy good company and all that Minneapolis’ ever evolving food scene has to offer. It’s also a great excuse to go all out when it comes to the dining extras–things we don’t always spring for–interesting cocktails, 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes 4th courses, and let’s not forget dessert.
Here’s where we been so far:
With busy schedules, it can be difficult to find a night that works for everyone so we make sure to choose the next month’s date and location and book a reservation via Open Table right then during dinner. This way it’s booked a month in advance before schedules fill up. Any recommendations for where we should try next month?

Vincent’s if you want to get dressed up and eat French food.
Or if you like sushi try Kiku Bistro (in the old Mt. Fuji spot). Try the Lake Calhoun roll.

Also, Gather by Damico (only open Thursdays). If you go the first Thursday of the month you get to try the chef specials for free and they have happy hour until 7PM.
