Happy Friday Everyone! This weekend we’re headed off to our friends, Briony and Andy’s, family lake cabin for their semi-annual Cabin Weekend, an event they host twice a year–once in the winter and once in the summer–as a way to get friends together amidst everyone’s busy lives. And it’s one that I always really look forward to!
Both the winter and summer parties are fun for different reasons, but if I had to choose I’d say I’m partial to the winter weekend, as there’s something so cozy about the combination of good friends, spiked hot cocoa, card games and a warm fire in a log cabin in the woods during the middle of winter.
I can’t wait for 5 o’clock to roll around today so we can get on the road; it’s going to be a fun weekend away! What are your plans for the weekend?
