If composting is something you want to learn or teach your family about, you’re in the right place! I’ve been busy talking all things composting over on my Instagram IGTV channel this Spring.

Why Is Composting Important?

So much of the material filling our landfills is organic (food) waste, and it releases harmful greenhouse gases, like methane, that contribute to climate change. In fact, about 1/4 of the waste we each produce can be composted instead, so there’s a lot of good we can do by choosing to compost food waste rather than toss it.

With us all spending so much time at home, it’s a great time to learn composting and teach our families about composting too!

IGTV Composting Videos

In case you’re just tuning in, I have two composting videos on IGTV. The first covers the basics of composting and how to get started.

The 2nd video is all about ideas for teaching our families to compost!
